DELMA WILSON

Originally from Winnipeg and later Hamilton, Ontario, Delma has made Forfar, Scotland her home since 1993. She is a Life Member of the SDTA and is a Fellow and Examiner for the UKA. She has been on the Worldwide Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing Judges Panel since 1978.

Delma had a successful dancing career with the highlight of winning the Canadian Championship in 1970 at the CNE in Toronto. She has gone on to have a successful dancing school with her pupils winning every major championship including the World Championships 16 times. She had in fact a World Champion every year from 2004-2012. She also enjoys travelling and doing workshops and lectures in Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Russia and the USA.
