BECOMING A WORLD CHAMPION A power point presentation with live commentary by Morgan Bamford. This presentation tells Morgan’s story from starting out as a beginner dancer, right through to winning the World Adult Championships at age 20. Morgan’s presentation discusses her highs, her lows and everything in between, as well as a comprehensive insight in to the training, sacrifice and dedication it takes to be successful at an elite level of Highland Dancing. Morgan recommends this presentation to all dancers and their parents as a way to open discussions between ‘the pyramid’ (dancer, teacher, parent) about their own personal goals, work ethics and priorities – regardless of whether they are a beginner or a championship place-getter. Morgan will be available for Q&A following her presentation.
