COLLEEN RINTAMAKI
Colleen Rintamaki, ten-time World Champion, has had a successful career in highland dancing over her 35 years. Besides winning the World Championships 10 times (9 times consecutively) and winning the Canadian Championships 14 times, she has had the honour of dining with Queen Elizabeth II and performing for former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. Colleen also won a Canadian Youth Television Achievement Award. She is a member of The British Association of Teachers of Dancing and has performed and taught across Canada, the United States, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand. Colleen also directs her own studio hoping to inspire and pass on her knowledge of dance.
