Exploring Choreography and the Elements of Dance

Workshop Overview:
So much fun that we brought it back. This was a brilliantly fun and create workshop in May 2021 and it’s back with a new twist!

Through choreography, dancers can explore and experiment with their own dance technique in creative and artistic ways. The “Thinking out of the box within the box” workshop will demonstrate ways that highland movements can be used as the dance vocabulary to design their own works of art. The dancers will learn about the concepts of body, space, time, energy and relationship to create steps and begin choreographies. Dancers will also explore a variety of musical choices and props.
