We are pleased to announce the release of 2 new highland dancing pumps to the market.
David has been working closely with renowned shoe maker James Senior over the last year to design and produce two brand new highland dancing pumps, which not only look great on dancers feet but provide the much needed arch support that is lacking in the current market. The shoes are ideal for every dancer and will enhance the arch and strength of the foot. Below is a description of each shoe. Pictures to follow...
This shoe has been designed for use during practice to increase muscle strength as well as giving support to the instep and impact areas of the feet. A first of its kind, the Wilton Collection has a pre-arched instep hugging the foot fully to provide greater support. The arched shoe will remove any excess leather when the foot has been pointed to give the dancer a smoother, neater fit. The Wilton Practice shoe has thicker leather adding resistance to the foot, working the muscles hard during pointing to increase foot strength. This shoe is similar to the Practice shoe design only more streamline and flexible. Think about a race car with all the heavy parts taken out to make it go faster; thinner leather, slimmer insole and zero padding! The dancer will feel the benefit of our practice shoe with little or no resistance to the foot while pointing. This will help dancers produce their best looking foot throughout the entire dance.
